The light duty CD welding gun is a compact, lightweight
tool made of high strength, impact resistant, glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate. Welds
any length CD stud with a diameter range of 14 gauge through 5/16". Adapters are
available to make the gun interchangeable with most CD stud welding collets and chucks.
The super lightweight, but rugged, ergonomic design
minimizes operator fatigue while maximizing productivity. Reliable mechanical gap system
eliminates overheating of electrical "Gap Coils" used by others and minimizes
gun weight. The unique mechanical gap mechanism allows for the precise locating of the
stud prior to gaping the gun and welding the stud. Infinitely adjustable spring pressure
range provides the precision set-up required for difficult applications. Gun configured
with tripod legs allow the welding of studs up to 1-3/8" long. Longer legs available
for longer studs.
